New Believers

If you are new to the faith, or just curious about the faith, you need to attend our "New Believer Class". Twice per year, we offer a 6-week class that will go over some of the fundamental beliefs that every Christian needs to know to move forward. There is no cost, and we will furnish you with 3 books. 

1. A Bible (if you need one)
2. Basics of the Christian Faith, Dr. David Jeremiah
3. The Pathway to Christian Maturity: 30 Discipleship Exercises, Billy Graham

New to First Baptist Wartburg

If you are new to the Baptist church or just new to First Baptist Wartburg, we don't want you to feel completely lost! Twice per year, we offer a "Newcomers Luncheon" where we will highlight some of the distinctives of the Baptist faith, go over any unique aspects of the ministry at FBC Wartburg, and answer any questions that may be floating around out there. We will even feed you a free meal for attending!

Sunday School

Every Sunday morning, our first corporate gathering is into small groups for Sunday School. Sunday School starts at 10:00 AM, and there are classes that range across all age groups. We would be happy to get you plugged into the appropriate group and set you on the road to discipleship. 

D-Groups

Discipleship is important for every believer, but we are stronger when we take that journey together. First Baptist Church of Wartburg utilizes D-Groups to encourage spiritual growth and discipleship. A D-Group is a small group of believers that meet together regularly to discuss their Bible reading, Scripture memorization, pray for one another, and provide accountability for one another. D-Groups have been transformative to many who take the plunge. Check out some resources below:
