Personal Evangelism

It is important for each and every believer to spend time praying for the unbelievers that they know and love. It is also very important that those believers would be bold enough to go forward and share Jesus with them. We end almost every service with an invitation to follow Jesus - but most people decide to follow Christ from a personal friend who is bold enough to be a witness for Jesus.

Outreach

Outreach is a little different than evangelism, but it is still extremely important. When we are involved in outreach, we are intentionally sharing the love of Christ with people in practical ways. This could be helping to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, cut up fallen trees after a storm, build a wheelchair ramp, etc. First Baptist Church of Wartburg is involved in multiple outreach efforts.
