Grow Believers
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.” – 2 Peter 3:18
‘Growing believers’ describes the process of a Christian learning to live and function by faith in God. When followers of Christ let down their barriers and allow their church family to nurture, share, care, train, and equip them during their Christian walk, genuine growth is more fully experienced. Having genuine relationships with other growing Christians gives both the opportunity to be encouraged while being an encourager. When we take part in this fellowship, we experience our freedom in Christ more fully, and can better unite around the common call of Christ. These actions will not only aid in individual growth, but also unify and edify the body of Christ as a whole.
Footnotes: Matthew 4:19; John 13:34-35; Acts 2:41-47
