Know Christ
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” – Galatians 5:25
Knowing Christ begins with a decision to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Every person is in need of this salvation. We desire that all will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and continue in a growing relationship with Him as Lord of their life. Followers of Christ come together to worship God regardless of
age, background, or circumstances. With Jesus Christ as the foundation, both individually and corporately, we must strive to continually know Him more each day with intentionality and purpose.
Knowing Christ continues with a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ. Discipleship (the life-long process of knowing and becoming more like Jesus) happens when followers of Christ become more like Him by actively pursuing Jesus in their life. The Church can aid in this pursuit when its members challenge and encourage one another from God’s Word. We encourage individual devotion and self-study of the Bible daily. We encourage corporate worship and study primarily through Sunday school, worship services, prayer meetings, D-groups and Men’s and Women’s fellowships. We strive to see our members know Jesus Christ both at the moment of salvation and in their continuous walk with Him.
