Serve Christ
“Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” – Matthew 22:39
Jesus Christ embodied servanthood to the world He encountered. In the Spirit of Christ, we place great value on serving our Church members, our community, and beyond to “the ends of the earth.”
Serving Christ happens when Christians harness the love of Christ in their hearts and purposely show love to a variety of people in a variety of circumstances. This happens across the full spectrum of spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Each Christian has been given at least one spiritual gift from the Holy Spirit in order to aid in the ministry of the Church and to further the Kingdom of God. Ministering to others is vital to the Christian’s life as we operate as the ambassadors of Jesus and love our neighbors. Corporately, we have multiple opportunities for Christians to exercise their unique gift in worship to our Lord and Savior. We believe that every member is vital to the body of Christ and adds value to our efforts as we show practical acts of love and kindness to all that are in need.
